On Saturday morning, Holland Soccer hosted South Haven and Reeths-Puffer in the Holland Invitational. In the first match, Holland fell behind 1-0 before Olivia Weiss his a shot from a through ball by Ashley Saldana to tie. A few minutes later, Emma Margaron blasted a shot from 35 yards to seal the win for the Dutch 2-1. In the second match, the game was very close. In the second half, Ashley Saldana hit an unassisted goal at the top of the box, and the Holland defense ensured the 1-0 win. "Both South Haven and Reeths-Puffer were organized, disciplined squads," said Holland coach Greg Cetihaml. "I was happy with the effort and intensity we showed today. Coming back from a one-goal deficit in the first match and holding on until we could go ahead in the second game showed how much this team has learned and evolved." Holland is now 4-6.
