On a bright and sunny day, Holland hosted Holland Christian for a dual meet in OK Black competition. The Maroons took the first relay of the day, but the Dutch responded by sweeping 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the 110m hurdles and 100m dash, as well as winning the 800m relay. It was a back and forth competition all afternoon. As the meet was coming to an end, the points were almost even and the athletes and coaches knew it would be close.
