The Dutch hosted Byron Center on Tuesday in a match between two regional opponents. The Bulldogs prevailed by a score of 8-1. Holland's lone victory came at #1 doubles, where the team of Haleigh Souder and Evelyn Lewin won 7-6(4), 6-3. "While an outcome like this is always tough, we are playing some really good tennis right now," said Holland coach Kyle Kreps. "Playing Byron Center, a team that is very well coached and always near the top of our region, forced us to raise our level of play. Today's match will serve us well as the season ramps up and we prepare for our conference and regional tournaments."
