The Holland Dutch visited the Western Michigan Christian Warriors on Friday for a non-conference matchup and came out with their sixth win of the season. The Dutch started off their scoring in the first with a solo home-run by Senior Gabe Bos for the first of his career. It wasn't until the last three innings that the Dutch would score again, putting up four more runs to round off the win. Bos drove in two more runs in the sixth by driving a double to the left-center field fence with the bases loaded. Fellow Seniors Abel Walkotten, Robby Wiersma, and Jacob Torres each had a single as well. On the mound, Senior Peyton Lehman went the distance, scattering four hits and a walk over seven innings for the complete game shutout. He struck out five Warriors in his first win of the season. The Dutch improved to 6-17 and are 1-14 in the OK Black. The host Spring Lake for Senior Night on Monday, May 19 for a conference double header. Senior Night activities will be held between games.
