On Saturday, Holland welcomed Plainwell and Grosse Pointe North in the Holland Invitational. In the first match, Holland beat Plainwell 2-0 with goals by Luke Rund-Scott and Andrew Legg. Goalies Simon Ozimek and Landon Van Ingen shared the shutout. In the second match, Holland defeated Grosse Pointe North 5-1. After conceding a goal in the first half, Holland scored five goals in the second half to secure the win. Aime Kibango and Josiah Van Hekken each had two goals, and Luke Rund-Scott had a goal. Rund-Scott and VanHekken each had two assists, and Caelen Gray recorded an assist. "It was a good day for Holland," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "We want to challenge ourselves by playing good teams. Our opponents were strong and skilled. I was happy with the way we played." Holland is now 3-1-1. The Holland JV team also won both matches, making their record 4-0.
