On Monday, Holland traveled to rival Holland Christian and tied 1-1. In the first half, Luke Rund-Scott fed Josiah VanHekken, who thundered a shot into the net. Holland Christian gained some momentum in the second half and converted a PK for the tie. "Holland Christian is a strong team," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "It was a tense game throughout. I was happy with the way our young team competed. We will learn from this and progress." Holland is now 3-1-2. In JV action, the Holland JV fell to HC 2-1.
